Hydropure Inc. announces the development and release of the new ECA Solution  "Wafer Cell". The new 2007 cell is the first Canadian ECA product of its kind and it's development has basically antiqued some of the old technology imported from the USA.  

ECA technology was developed during the cold war in Russia when scientists were required to find a way to disinfect contaminated water. The answer was discovered to be a cell that was created to electro activate the water itself and has been found to be extremely effective in all aspects of farming and industry around the globe.

Hydropure, a Canadian company based in Alberta and BC has been the sales leader of ECA equipment in  North America for several years. Hydropure has surrounded itself with the most knowledgeable individuals in the industry including engineers, technicians and physicians. Throughout this tenure, we have provided foreign manufactured equipment to our customers, but obstacles such as shipping and product quality control have definitely been a challenge to work with says Darren Miller, President of Hydropure. However, our belief in anolyte has never faltered. "I grew up in a central Alberta farming community and have never seen a product so valuable. The results are amazing and in the past few years I have witnessed hog operators cut back on mortality, I have seen a significant reduction in medical bills in all farming applications, as well as huge improvements in feed conversion and an increase in the conception rate of dairy herds. Brian Pouwels of ECA Solutions, the Abbottsford BC designer/manufacturer says he is excited as well. Pouwels states, “We believed in the product, we saw the enormous difference it made in many operations, but most of the equipment we imported had problems. As a technician, I was spending most of my time fixing and repairing other manufacturers’ equipment. We knew there was a better way but in order to succeed we had no option but to develop new and much superior equipment ourselves”.

Pouwels, along with a team of individuals including a scientist and veterinarian began work on the first "wafer cell" ever created. Cells are the backbone of this technology and we were tired of the poor craftsmanship coming from many of the other manufacturers. For 30 years, many companies have tried, but few succeeded in creating a commercially viable and dependable product. This product is a first for North America and so unique that many veterinarians and water specialists request our time for educational purposes.

We wanted to do 3 things:

1. Create a product that was commercially viable and problem free.

2. Create a unit capable of creating a liquid product that was the absolute best on the market.

3. Provide Training and Service! This is key in any business and we wanted to create a

relationship with our clients that was exceptional, one that provided warranties and regular

onsite service.
